Integrating Chinese Medicine into Massage Therapy weaves together these five in-depth courses to both broaden and deepen your work with clients:

Acupressure's Potent Points for Common Complaints: Discover potent Acpoints and  sequences for common complaints, such as: shoulder and neck tension, sciatica, headaches, weak immunity, stress, anxiety, menstrual cramps, insomnia, and much more. 15 NCBTMB CE hours. 
 
Chinese Meridian Acupressure: Learn the Chinese Organ Meridian locations and functions on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels, as well as Acupotent point sequences to balance each Meridian. 24 NCBTMB CE hours.

Meridian Massage Therapy: Offers a variety of Eastern massage techniques from both T'ui Na and Table Shiatsu to balance the Meridians and open the Gateways, or joints, and to encourage free and abundant Chi flow. 20 NCBTMB CE hours (Pre-requisite Chinese Meridian Acupressure). 

Aroma Acutouch Therapy to Balance the Chinese Five Elements: Explore the Spirit and theory of the Chinese 5 Elements. Learn  Acupressure and Aroma Acutouch Therapy sequences to balance each of the Elements. 22 NCBTMB CE hours.

Chinese Acupressure to Regulate the Five Element Cycles: In this advanced Five Elements course, discover the Breeding and Control Cycles in harmonizing the Elements within. Learn the Transfer of Chi technique, to balance the relationships between the Elements and address a complex set of signs and symptoms with multiple Elements involved. 24 NCBTMB CE hours.

This course is an exploration of the nervous system from the Chinese perspective. A tense nervous system is Constrained Chi, and manifests as shoulder-neck tension, headaches, insomnia, digestive tension, or menstrual tension. A weak nervous system, on the other hand, would be Deficient Chi, and shows up as fatigue, low immunity, poor concentration, weak digestion or scanty periods. In this class, you will learn specific Aroma Acutouch sequences (using Essential Oils to activate Acupoints) to address each of these imbalances.

This deep dive into the Five Elements combines two dynamic courses:

  • Chinese Acupressure to Regulate the FIve Element Cycles (Level 2): Explore the relationship between the Elements along the Shen (Breeding) Cycle and the Ke (Control) Cycle.  Using the 60 Command Points, learn the Transfer of Chi technique to achieve balance in the relationship between each of the Elements. 24 NCBTMB CE hours

Online Program Cancellation Policy

All program enrollment cancellations will incur a $150 administrative fee.  If it is past the first 14 days of the program, you are responsible for: (1) payment in full for any courses that you completed in the program, (2) payment in full for the course you are in the midst of upon cancelling, and (3) the $150 administration fee.  If you cancel your enrollment prior to the first 14 days of the program, you will be refunded funds paid minus the $150 administrative fee.
